Chiang Mai - Khao Soi Fueng Fah

Say Hi from the northern part of Thailand, Chiangmai. It was wonderful being there in the end and the beginning of the year—it’s winter in Thailand. You won’t believe that there are Muslim communities in the city, but you have to buy that though.

Since masjids are all around the city. Most of Muslim people here are from Yunnan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. So, you will find many different delicious kind of recipes which made by the natives.

Along the Halal street (Charoen Prathet Rd. Soi 1), there is located Khao SoiFueng Fa Restaurant. This street is not far from night bazaar and walking street. The recommended dish is, of course, the most famous local dish in Chiangmai—Khao Soi (Northern Style Curried Noodle Soup with Chicken). Khao Man Kai (Steamed chicken with rice), Soup Nua (Beef Soup), and more are also appetizing. And there are snacks for take away too.

If your stomach still got a space, walk along the street then!! There are so many tasty foods to try, such as Satay, Roti, and more. Moreover, If you have no idea what to do or where to go, I kindly present you a Muslim tour agent. So that you will be worry-free about those which is not Halal.

There found Muslim-Yunnan masjid named Hedayatul Islam which is known as Masjid Ban Ho. With the Yunnan(chinese) style, you will be impressed.

Halal Street is open only on Friday at 4.00-10.30pm. But there are still some restaurant open for you daily.
